Fraser Ross

Fraser is a graduate of the Nova College of Art and Design and, though steeped in classic design methods and instruction, was an early adopter of computer technology to the task of creative design. He brings 25 years of industry experience to clients.

In partnership with Steven Slipp, Fraser formed Semaphor Design in 1995 and shares responsibility for the broad design services that have given Semaphor its excellent reputation.

Fraser brings a quick, responsive and clear focus to the mission and workings of client organizations, and a concise creativity to visually represent them. He is creative even when there is no time, a noticeable condition of business practice these days.

Print creative is an area of long experience for Fraser. He has produced publications, collateral material and catalogues for various clients including the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Killam Properties, the QEII Foundation, Mount Saint Vincent University and many private-sector clients.

Environmental signage systems are a mainstay of his offering, both exterior and interior. Killam Properties is a visible member of the business community thanks to the signage systems established and maintained by Fraser.

Fraser is also a member of the design community working for Canada Post. Over the past 10 years he's produced a number of stamps including Tall Ships in Halifax, Portia White and Highland Games in Canada. He is currently working on projects for the next publication year.
